Rhapsody is an Australian company developing robust, engineer-focused hardware platforms. We are currently operating in a pre-product research and prototyping phase.
The platform will use standardised modules for compute, acceleration, connectivity, and other functions. Modules will connect through defined electrical and mechanical interfaces and are designed to be replaceable without changes to the carrier board.
Carrier boards will provide power regulation, external I/O, debug access, and expansion. These boards will be designed to support multiple module variants and future revisions where practical.
Reference software, board support packages, and documentation will be provided to support initial bring-up and evaluation. The focus will be on clarity and completeness rather than abstraction.
System architecture will be defined, components will be evaluated, and proof-of-concept hardware will be developed to validate the platform approach.
Initial carrier boards and core modules will be tested internally and released to partners for evaluation, feedback, and system validation.
Designs will be refined for manufacture, compliance considerations will be addressed, and limited pilot runs will be planned to validate deployment.
The platform will be released for broader use. Feedback from real-world deployments will be used to refine hardware revisions, expand the module range, and stabilise interfaces for long-term support.
